The Brief

LeftCoast is a programme of arts, culture and creative activity across Blackpool and Wyre aimed at strengthening communities. The PAINTING THE TOWN™ initiative involved the development of a commercial range of paints, with Blackpool themes, with a view to genuinely repainting key areas of the town with a joined-up theme.

Campaign

Limitless worked with LeftCoast to orchestrate the launch of the PAINTING THE TOWN™ initiative, which involved the launch of the Ocean Boulevard installation which saw 10 units adjoined to Blackpool Pleasure Beach painted in colours from the range developed by Leyland Paints.

Results – LeftCoast

The result was significant PR and TV coverage and the plan is to develop the idea for other seaside towns in conjunction with Leyland Paints.

Artistic Director Tina Redford said: “Limitless did a brilliant job, working hand-in-hand with us to deliver major TV interest and coverage for one of our flagship campaigns. Working with a team of multiple stakeholders, their expert knowledge and impressive contacts book helped generate widespread press, TV and radio coverage for the launch.”
