The Brief

Established in 1956, Tapeswitch specialises in the design and manufacture of pressure-sensitive safety technologies used in industrial, transport and automation environments. Its product portfolio includes ribbon switches, sensing edges, safety bumpers, safety mats and bespoke systems, with applications across a huge variety of sectors.

Tapeswitch commissioned Limitless to help build and maintain increased awareness, knowledge and understanding of Tapeswitch, its products, expertise and outlook, with its key target audiences, spanning applications including airports, aviation & aerospace, commercial vehicles, manufacturing, materials handling, gates, barriers & doors, loading bays & conveyors, medical devices & equipment, amusement, leisure, and live performance.

Campaign

The campaign commenced with the launch of the company’s HaloProtect system at the Aviation Week MRO Europe expo, with coverage in relevant trade press leading directly to significant orders from a number of major airlines.

Further coverage has been maintained through company news stories as well as major thought leadership pieces with titles including Industrial Technology, Machine Building, Furniture & Joinery Production and Design Products & Applications.

Results

In the first twelve months of the campaign, Limitless delivered coverage with a total readership across trade and local business press of approximately 1 million (excluding pick-ups by MSN which, if included, would put the figure at an SEO and GEO-friendly 106M).
